These courses are great for anyone interested in becoming a Linux certified professional. Courses can be accessed directly on the site without registration. You’ll also find product documentation, downloadable software and tips and articles from the Novell community.
IBM – LPI (Linux Professional Institute) Exam Prep (ibm.com)
IBM provides a series of Linux tutorials via its website to help people who want to become a qualified Linux specialist. There are a total of 13 tutorials in all. You’ll need to register to access the training, but it is free for everyone.

The University of Surrey’s Department of Electronic Engineering offers an excellent beginner’s guide to the Linux and Unix operating systems.
